Back to Basics

Everyone is naturally drawn to beautiful scenery—especially when it evokes cherished memories that delight the heart. No one shies away from environments that awaken their spirit or reveal the unique beauty they carry within.

Such was the connection the first earthly couple had with their Creator. They were so comfortable with Him—and with each other—that they felt no fear or shame in their nakedness. This deep connection gave them the confidence and strength to fulfill their divinely assigned responsibilities.

However, when they gave ear to a dissenting voice, brokenness entered. Sin came into the world and affected the whole person—spirit, soul, and body. That brokenness unleashed a flood of destructive emotions and actions: shame, accusation, murder, hatred, jealousy, despondency, and more.

Yet with the Creator, brokenness does not have the final say. He set in motion the path to redemption.

No matter the depth of brokenness experienced by individuals, families, communities, or nations, true healing and restoration can only be found when we take the following steps:

1. Acknowledge the Manufacturer of Our Lives

No one is here by accident. Every soul is uniquely designed by God. Only the Manufacturer truly knows how His creation is meant to function.

2. Embrace His Blueprint for Our Lives

God’s Word reveals His intentions and plans for us. As we align ourselves with what He says, we begin to reclaim our lives from all forms of brokenness.

3. Allow Him to Touch the Hidden Wounds

Many buried issues lie beneath our busy lives and visible successes. Only God sees the depth of our wounds—and only He can bring true healing, no matter how well we mask the pain.

4. Accept Our Unique Life Journey

Each path is different—our birth, childhood, relationships, failures, and triumphs. With our Creator, nothing is wasted. If we let Him, He will bring beauty from ashes.

5. Let Him Showcase His Glory Through Us

Surrender to His will, and allow Him to reveal His glory in our lives—in the way He chooses.

In Conclusion

True healing and restoration from any form of brokenness can only happen when we fully surrender to the Manufacturer’s plan for our lives..
